Sethu rejoices on Mathy Suku's plight, but Prakashan taunts her. Shantha goes to Chala Mary's house and seeks her help in earning a livelihood. Prakashan meets Shantha and makes fun of her plight. Later, he visits Veni at the jail and scoffs at her.
