Sooraj tries to imagine life without Sandhya and becomes upset. Sandhya asks him about Ganghor puja and he responds with sarcasm. The women of the Rathi family perform the Ganghor puja. When they take their husband's blessings at the end of it, Sooraj refuses to bless Sandhya.
