The Day The Earth Stood Still is a science fiction film, and a remake of the 1951 film of the same name. The film stars Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly and Jaden Smith, and is directed by Scott Derrickson. The story revolves around two alien visitors sent to try to change human behavior or eradicate them because of mankind's damaging impact to the planet.
