Unstoppable is an English disaster thriller action film, loosely based on the real-life CSX 8888 incident. It tells the story of a runaway freight train, and the two men who attempt to stop it. The film stars Denzel Washington and Chris Pine, and is directed by Tony Scott. An engineer (Washington) and his conductor (Pine) are chasing a runaway train in another locomotive. They are in an attempt to bring it to a stop before it derails on a curved bridge, causing a catastrophe that will destroy a whole town.
